Exhibitions schedule of the showcase of the "Gallery Meko, art jewellery". “The showcase of diversity”   Rules:   This initiative presents a new form of exhibition in the Gallery Meko. Temporarily, one of the Gallery's show cases will be at disposal of a selected artist to show his creativity. This exhibition is not a usual one; it doesn't follow tradition sending out invitations, opening nights, drinks and canapés, press campaign, etc... Experience shows the shop window is one of the best media to attract the attention of the public. Therefore, the Gallery Meko wants to dedicate one of two show cases that it has at its disposal to a different artist, for a two monts period.   Once a year an annual program will be sent out to all addresses in the Gallery's mailing list (we provide a selected 2000 addresses), and the current program will be sent out to tourist (travel) guides to the press and to all addresses on our mailing list. The Gallery will exhibit from 3 to 5 artists every year, to his completely discretion. "Renting" agreement: After signing contract about a symbolic fee of one euro (1 euro + TVA), the artist is entirely in charge of his exhibition. Any kind of decoration is allowed; solid or graphic elements, etc.- always at the artist's expense; but is strictly prohibited to place any kind of advertising except those showing the artist name. If any of the presented pieces of jewellery should be sold, the Gallery will charge a commission. Until the end of the exhibition the artist has to take care of replacing sold items with new ones and supply with packaging. In order to prepare the next annual program by December, the Gallery Meko will consider all requests including application form, the artist's CV and a minimum of 10 pictures (paper or digital format) until the end of October.   The selected application will be communicated to the respective artists by the end of each year in order for being able to co-ordinate the periods when they can present their art.   All application forms and graphic documents of selected artists will be filed at the Gallery Meko; no selected artists have six months to take away his documentation.
